Bunches Of Wishes

Hi,

Well last Saturday, when i had my Open House, the house could not have looked any better, shame then the only people the estate agent sent round, had not even got their houses on the market yet :-(. Last Saturday I also went to 'Strictly Come Dancing Live' at the 02, had a lovely time - shame though that the 02 want to be money grabbers and made us give up all of our water bottles and sweets before we entered the venue !!

Today is mid point for Penny Black And More  and this month's Challenge is:  'Use Your Favourite Stamp' and as usual we have some fabby sponsors too :

Penny Black

Crafts U Love

Stamp Addicts

Sizzix

And one lucky person using a Penny Black image will be picked to be Guest Designer for next month, so pop over to Penny Black And More and check out the other amazing inspiration the very talented team have come up with and join in the fun - but please do remember, you can use any image you like, except Digi's.

Today's card was actually made for Wendy Kadizo's mum who was 90 in January, Wendy asked if anybody would send her a card, as normally she would only get 5 and it gave me a good excuse to use this adorable stamp : Penny Black - 'Bunches Of Wishes / 0343J / 1997' (i must confess it took me a while to find the number for this stamp, as it's been discontinued !!), stamped on : Die-namics - 'Stitched Circle Stax' and edged with : Distress Ink - 'Picked Raspberry', the flower die : Penny Black - 'Flower Pop Outs / 51-230 / 2016' (i cut it a 3 times with scrap paper and i coloured the leaves in), the ribbon is : Doodlebug - 'Boutique Trims / Bubblegum Assortment', the papers are : LOTV - 'Country Meadow', the sentiment is : Paula Pascal - 'All Year Round', the pears are : Love To Craft - 'A Beautiful Life'

The Challenges I Would Like To Enter Are :

Penny Black Saturday  - where the Challenge is 'Try Something New' - mine is the Penny Black - Flower Pop Out Die

Naughty Or Nice -where Challenge No: 36 is 'Colour Inspiration (which is what i went for) or LOVE'

As You Like It  - where the Challenge is 'Do You Prefer Ribbon Or Lace' - i so love both, but 9 times out of 10, i pick ribbon, probably i have so much of it, so there is a better chance i have a colour to match the card i'm making ;-) x

Sweet Stampin' - where the Challenge is 'Flowers'

Simon Say's Stamp - where the Challenge is 'Fantastic Florals'

Allsorts  - where Challenge No : 403 is 'Anything Goes'

Thanks for looking and for any comments you would like to leave, would be most appreciated, luv Sam x

A beautiful card Sam, such an adorable image and pretty papers.
It's so annoying when they make you buy drinks and sweets at the venue - the prices are outrageous.

Oh what a beautiful shade of pink and green Sam! So sweet and feel like Spring is here just looking at your card.

Putting the house on the market is so much work and exhausting. Hang in there.

I also want to stop by to let you know I have received your beautiful doggy card for the Hug a Heart Card Drive Sam. It is even cuter in person! Thanks so much Sam! I'll be sending a group email out later next week with my Heart Panda gift and the winners of the remaining prize packages will be announce on Feb 28th over on my blog. Hope you'll be able to join me then. Have a lovely rest of your weekend Sam. Thanks so much for your help. Take care.

What a splendid card to celebrate a 90th birthday, and how kind you are to make this lady's day so special with this sweet card. Always love the PB images, and the bear is darling. Loving the patchwork look behind the little bear, and what a pretty design with the pink & white, the layout too. TFS & Hugs (got a chuckle from the first part of your post. Good luck with the house too)

Me again. hope your next open house gives better results. I know it is a lot of work to get ready and keep the house spotless every day. Good luck for a quick sale without a chain.

This is so pretty Sam, and what a lovely idea - I'm sure the lady was thrilled to receive all those beautiful cards on her special birthday.

I've had the same at concerts and refuse to buy anything inside, it's appalling greed when you've paid a fortune already for tickets.
Good luck with the house sale, it can be long and frustrating I know :o(
